In the first quarter of 2021, the iOS Consumer Finance category witnessed interesting trends across top applications in the United States. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from around 99K in the first week of January to 45K by the end of March, and a similar trend was observed in weekly active users, dropping from approximately 440K to 387K. Revenue also showed a downward trend, starting the quarter at around $108K and closing at approximately $55K.

EveryDollar: Personal Budget, another major player, saw a peak in revenue at $117K in mid-January before ending the quarter at about $64K. Downloads and weekly active users both trended downwards, with downloads falling from 27K to 10K and active users decreasing from 304K to 239K.

YNAB also witnessed a declining pattern, with revenue starting around $50K and ending the quarter near $45K. The app's downloads decreased from roughly 12K to 3K, and weekly active users saw a slight reduction from 48K to around 42K.

For BabySteps: Hit Financial Goals, revenue exhibited volatility, peaking at approximately $17K in mid-January and late March, while downloads saw a decline from 2.6K to 1.1K. The weekly active users data for BabySteps was not provided.

Lastly, Hiatus: Bill and Money Manager showed a downward trend across all metrics. Revenue decreased from around $19K to $7K, downloads fell from 4K to under 600, and weekly active users dropped from 6.3K to just over 1.9K.

The first quarter of 2021 showcased varying degrees of performance among the top iOS Consumer Finance apps in the US.
